IT'S HARD TO SAY GOODBYE TO YESTERDAY!!!,,,,lol My brother had a singing group when he was bout 15 or 16. His group sounded just like you guys TO THE TEE. For my grandma's b-day, they wanted to sing her a song. Then this came. Beautiful song and video. My brother's group decided this was the song. They practice for a few weeks to get it straight. and sang it without music. Made my grandma cry. I loved watching the video and my bro's group practice to it. Haven't had the chance to see you live....Yet!!

After Showtime at the Apollo..

My BEST Boyz II Men memory..hmm..-->I had a singing group by the name of MR.JAK(we took the first initials of all five of our first names)between 1997-2002. We had won every talent competion we ever entered--and there were many. Like almost all male R&B vocal groups since Boyz II Men(to say the least), we greatly admired you guys.. for all the reasons ya'll are to be admired! After we had our three-episode winning streak on the world famous Showtime at the Apollo(1999-2000), I got us tickets to our first Boyz II Men concert. Man, we were exited. I don't think any of them were more exited than I was. You guys were going to be performing at the Beacon Theature in New York. There was a "Save The Music" theme to the concert..I think they were sponsering it. Us Boyz II Men fans around the world had been missin' ya'll by that time. The "Evolution&" album was great--as usual although the industry was changing a little and we were waiting a little longer than normal for your next project. Anyway, you guys had just come out with your latest album "Nathan Michael Shawn Wanya"(Mike was still performing with you guys)and we all traded instruments for copies that they had at that concert. Ofcourse, ya'll ripped it! It was just one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life. Your voices, harmonies, energy, dancing were like, perfectly crisp and beautiful! You guys wore the gray jeans outfits with the rine stones(Wanya was rockin' the matching head band) I was sitting right in the middle of the venue--perfect view. After the concert we waited outside of the enterence where we heard you guys would be coming out from. We sang the song we won with at Showtime at the Apollo--"Have You Seen Her"(Chi-lites)for guys while..lol..while the women from the, "I know which exit BIIM are coming out from!" crowd just POUNCED on ya'll..lol...it was great. I remember watching Shawn smiling so calmly while screaming girls were hysterically shoving things for him to sign autographs on against his chest. You guys were lovingly trapped against the limo..lol. Even though Boyz II Men was(and still is) the greatest, most famous R&B/pop male vocal group in the world, you guys looked a little surprised at the exiting hysteria at first. I believed it was because the industry was changing at that time and it had been BIIM's longest wait between albums..so you might have been kinda curious to see if people still had the same love. In any case, to this day I'm not sure if you guys heard us singing over the crowd for ya'll, even though we were just four meters from you guys against the limo. We were hoping you'd hear us and the rest could be history. But, even though we didn't verbally interact that night, just seeing ya'll receiving and enjoying that intense appreciation for the values you bring, was really just a gift in itself. Truly, I love guys. As long as you continue to stay true to yourselves, I'll always support you. --Greatest Memory.

A day I will never forget

When I was 13 I wanted to go See The Boyz so bad, my mom didn't have the money to take me. When I came home From school one day there were 2 BIIM tix on the table. My mom won them on the radio. That was the fist time I seen the fellas. My mom passed away after the concert. I have been to several BIIM concerts and meet and greets since then. I Wish my mom was here to share this with me. I'm just so glad she won the tix and went with me to me first BIIM experience. Thank you Mom and Thank you Nathan,Wanya and Shawn for everything! ;-) See you soon

My favorite Boyz memory is when I attended their last Minnesota concert in April 2009 at Epic nightclub. After a wonderful romantic night of music, my last baby was conceived that evening. I was not planning on having anymore children, but Boyz have a way of doing that to you. An now I have an official product of Boyz II Men - my beautiful baby Jaidyn Adrionne!! Thanks Boyz!

Full Circle

My favorite memory was back in '90 or '91 when B2M was headlining the first SummerJam concert in NYC in Madison Square Garden. They turned the place out! I was having so much fun and had made my way right to the front of the stage. Suddenly one of the girls jumped up on stage and the Boyz just smiled and danced with her like she was part of the act. The crowd went wild(er) :-) I was so mad because I had it in mind to do the same thing but hadn't gotten up the nerve. I was consoled later on after I waited by the back door to see them depart and they waved at me from inside while they waited around for their manager to hustle them quickly into their limo. A close second was their recent concert that they had in Albany, NY where they made history for the largest audience ever in the 20 year history of that venue. Their performance was spectacular and just as lively and their voices as beautiful as 20 years ago! WOW!

My favorite memory

It is 10:36 pm on Friday June 18th 2010. My 17 year old son Daniel and I just got home from our very first Boyz ii men concert in Wichita Kansas. You are amazing, all three of you. My son was not supposed to make it to his first birthday due to heart and lung problems and through the miracle of love life faith prayer and your music, Daniel has overcome all health issues. He recently was swore into the United States Army with delayed entry of June 13th 2011, just five weeks after he graduates his senior year.You have always been a very big part of our lives and always will be. It was wonderful to see my son cry while you sang MOMMA, he truely feels the power of your music in his soul. I LOVE THAT! And yes he can really sing, He sang for the Vice President at the Marriot a few years ago!! Thank you for being such a possitive role model to all who follow you! And just for the record Amazed was awesome even though you passed on it the first time, you are still the very best!! WE LOVE YOU, THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL EVENING WITH MY SON, YOU HAVE GIVEN ME A MEMORY THAT WILL NEVER LEAVE MY HEART!

Apart from the joy, honour & privilege of being at such an amazing concert & meeting the guys afterwards, my best BIIM memory has to be - the guys singing mama( a happy & sad moment), my daughter & i holding each other, me crying buckets for the mum i've lost & for my daughter, who lost her daughter Hope 9mths ago at the age of 16mths & won't hear her saying mama ever again & Nate standing right in front of us for what seemed like an eternity, Nate touching his chest & pointing right at me & nodding his head as if he knew exactly what i was thinking at that exact moment & us smiling back, a moment that he will never know was so special & will stay w/ the both of us for always. Hi Guys, In my last comment I mentioned that I was hoping the seats I had were lucky as in 2008 Wanye got down on one knee and sang to me....well guess what it happened again and this time someone videoed it, its on youtube also both myself and my sister(as my brother was ill and couldn't attend)kissed Wanye on either cheek at the same time and he remembered doing it...this way by far the greatest moment. best memory!

My best memory is Saturday 15th May 2010. They put on the best concert I have ever been to or seen. I got a rose from Wanya and I was so happy cos Nathan gave me his towel, the only towel he gave out the whole show and he handed it to me, it made me feel so special!It's funny though because there was a girl and she was trying to take my towel from me, there was no way she was getting it, I would have kicked her butt for that towel! I'm never going to wash it, it's got lots of Nathan's sweat on it, lovely! I loved making eye contact with the boys when they were singing and I feel like they make their fans feel really special and appreciated. Then afterwards we met them and spoke for a minute and had our picture taken,then Nathan said he had seen the girl trying to take my towel! It was truly the best night of my life-amazing! They are the nicest guys and hot, hot hot!!

I believe it was your first record, my brother had just bought me a car for my senior year in HS. And coolyhighharmony is what you'd hear me playing non stop. Everybody knew it was a fight if you touched my radio. I actually hated motownphilly but loved the vocals. I know I'm weird like that; my all time favorite is Thank you in Advance. Best Boyz II Men memory

About 15 years ago I went to my first ever concert. It was a Boyz II Men concert and they had just released their II album. I was in middle school and loved Boyz II Men because they were "ladies men" and I wanted to be a ladies man. My mom got me a pair of 5th row tickets. It was amazing!!! The impact that they have on their audience was unlike anything that a 13 year old has ever seen. The best part of this story is that I had the option of choosing any one that I wanted to go with me. But knowing how big of a fan my mom was, the 2 of us went together. This was a memory that the 2 (II) of us have never forgotten and to this day still talk about. Hopefully my mother and I will have a chance to meet them at their upcoming Jacksonville, FL show. (I'll be the one in the 15 year old "II" shirt that I brought home from the concert as a souvenir). I want to know how they disappeared out of the hanging box they used for the finale. Any long time fan that went to this concert will remember what I am talking about.

On Bended Knee

My favorite moment has to be from 2nd April 2008 at the Riyal Concert Hall in Nottingham. I was at the far right of the stage listening and singing with the boys when Wanye came running across the stage and got down on one knee and sang to me...I have never been so completely dumb struck...here's hoping for the same on 18th May 2010 in Nottingham...Iam in the same seats as I was in 2008 so maybe it will be a lucky seat for me...I will be there with my brother and we are both long time fans of the Boyz....can't wait. Favorate Moment

My favorate BoyzIIMen moment was when I was playing baseball with my friend at Capitolo Field at 9th and Wharton right across from Pat's and Geno's steaks and the guys came to shoot a home video !! We gladly vacated the field and when they were through we hit the ball around and hung out what great guys !! They are one of us as I am 31 and have spent my whole 31 years in Philly. I will never ever forget that and I always wonder if the guys remember that day as well. One of them ( I think it was Nate but not sure) was wearing a red Phillies batting practice jersey. They even barbecued afterward !! It was just being in the right place at the right time. When are you guys coming back home to do a show? This city will go crazy !! I know I'll be there. I saw you guys perform in St Louis on Valentines day this year and I have to say that it was the BEST concert I have ever been to. You are just as great singing live as you are on the album and that isnt the case with most performers. You included the crowd and that really made the concert. I have been a fan since you guys started and will continue to be one. You are the best and I cannot wait to join you on the cruise.

Well, folks-like Lays potato chips, no one can have just one! Another (of many) greatest Boyz II Men moments was July 15, 2008. I will NEVER forget how Wanya & I connected on this night. To back-track, I've been to a number of BIIM shows, and at each one, when they'd perform A Song For Mama, I would call my mother to let her listen to it live. Well, due to a number of health problems, God took my mother Home to be with Him on April 7th, 2004-two months after the birth of my only child. I was devastated, but really didn't have time or the ability to grieve, with being a single mother. So on this particular night, at BB Kings in NYC, the intro to ASFM starts to play-and in an instant, I forgot, and went to call my mother...and then, it hit me, like a ton of brinks, that she was no longer here. Now, front row of a concert with hundreds of people is NOT where you want to be when a moment like this overtakes you, but that's just what happened. A single tear fell, I wiped it away...another fell, I wiped IT away. In a very short time, however, I was consumed by the grief to the point that my head was in my hands, my elbows resting on the giant speaker, and I'm weeping uncontrollably. Someone next to me kept asking me if I was alright-I couldn't speak nor respond, nor could I get myself together. My hopes were that I was as inconspicuous as possible, so as not to ruin the show for those around me, and I'm standing there trying to get myself together, but with every effort, the tears would just burst out of me that much harder. At some point, I feel "heat" on the right side of my face (spotlight)...I make a feeble attempt to wipe my tears away and look up at the stage-I didn't want da fellaz to think I was being rude & ignoring them. But when I managed to look up, Wanya was standing right in front of me, looking down at me, singing this song just to me (idk where Nate and Shawn were). We made eye contact, and I knew that he knew that I needed what he was giving me. He came to the edge of the stage, and wrapped me in his arms, and for the rest of the song, I wept on his shoulder. Okay, so maybe other singers would have done the same thing, idk-but forgive my bias, but I love & support these men for just this-they truly care about their people. Someone had told me later that before coming over to me, Wanya had turned around to wipe away his own tears-maybe something he was experiencing in his own life, maybe a bit to do with me-who can say? But on THAT night, in that arena, we connected on such a deep level, one that you never really get over, but there are instances that can make it just THAT much more bearable-that was definitely one of them. I didn't think I could possibly love them more, but that night, I was so glad to be proven wrong!

Another Great Memory

Awwwwww, Another Great Memory. & Another AWESOME CONCERT!!!!!! 02/12/2010 Chandler Az. My niece & I went & had the time of of lives. I've seen ALOT of BIIM concerts but this one was the BEST!!!!!!! They came out singing Motownphilly & then broke into Muzak. ( one of my faves) Then Shawn took the stage & was talking to the audiance. He was saying how alot of us have been with them for many many years... ( the audiance was quiet because we were all listening to him) Then I yelled out " 20 Years BABY!!!!!" The crowd laughed, Shawn chuckled, then grinned from ear to ear & then said "you are right" :) :) :) Then Good old Shawn had a few "games for us to play. One was a guessing game. He said that he wasn't going to give us the title of the next song he was just going to give us hints about it. He said it was from Eveloution, & that is was the first single off of that alblum. Well I guessed that right too. It was " Four Seasons of Loneliness" After that song came another game from all our childhoods called " Shawn Says" ( Funny I could of sworn it was called Simon Says) but hey whatever makes Shawn Happy. LOL :) So he goes " Shawn says raise your hand" so we all raised our hands. Then said " now put ur hand" Some of crowd put their hand down. & we all started craking up & Shawn goes " I didn't say Shawn Says" LOL... Then we all raised out hand again, &Shawn goes " Shawn Says snap ur fingers like this" & the crowd followed. Then Shawn said that we are now a part of the "offical BIIM Band" and as the crowd snapped, the Boyz went into "Water Runs Dry" They did a few more #'s after that & then went into "I'll make love to you" & everyone got as close up to the stage as we could. ( My niece & I were literly leaning right on the stage) I looking up @ Nate ( Mr Sexxy, aka "Mr Happy") & tried to get a rose from him. Nathan "Alexvanderpool" B. "Mr. Happy" Morris YOU ARE TEASE!!! LOL... He waved the roses @ me & few other fans. He shook them over our heads, held them out to where we couldn't quite reach. Covered his eyes & pretended like he was going to either toss or drop one. ( but did'nt) then he smiled down @ us & walked to the other side of the stage with the roses. Wanya was in the middle tossin & handing out roses & Shawn & had switched sides with Nate. Shawn had one rose left. I thought to myself this is it I have to have one. ( it's been a llloooonng 20 years, & came close but never have gotten one) SO Shawn was holding out the rose in front of me & a girl standing next to me. & statred waving it back & forth while singing. I looked @ Shawn in the eyes & said " Shawn Please" He looked right @ me ( I mean major eye contact :) ) and lowered the rose into my hand. I was soooooo HAPPY!!!!!! I held onto the rose with both hands for a min then I held out my one hand again, Shawn took it & finished singing the rest of the song to me, while waving my hand back & forth. ( HOW AWESOME IS THAT!!! ) During the rest of the concert I got to hold Nate's hand & Wanya's. I held all the guys hands sooo many times I lost count. Told them each thank you for a wonderful 20 years of music. I just want to tell Each of you Nate, Shawn & Wanya Thank you from the Bottom of my Heart for such a Wonderful Concert. Shawn Thank You for the rose. & Also Thank You for aknowledging your fans " Momma's" who have passed away, when you did the dedication during the song " A song for Momma" It made it so much easier for me, & i'm sure i'm not the only one. I looked right up and told my Momma that song was for her. ( I know she heard it) I love you all sooo much. Your are Complete Gentleman, Incredible Entertainers, Taltented beyond Belief, & the "Buttercream Icing on this Cake" ;) is that you all are SEXXXY!!!!! See you Fellas Next year on the Cruise. Best BIIM Memory

My first best memory was the first time I met them (you). Y'all know this already, I've recalled this story for you a million times, but for the benefit of those interested, I'd heard BIIM were going to be at Regis & Kelly, so I called for tickets, only to later find I'd requested the wrong date-called back to correct my mistake. Meanwhile, a friend who knew I loved BIIM knew someone who worked @ ABC studios, said he'd call them to guarantee we'd get in (he now was coming with me). Okay, so I have plans A & B. Coincidentally, the show was scheduled the week of my birthday, however, I'd NEVER met anyone so famous, and you just happened to be my FAVORITE group, so I decide to bring gifts (homemade) of esteem & appreciation for you. So, showtime is getting near, and I'm not seeing tickets for the wrong OR right day, but then, I have plan b, right? So wrong! The day before, my friend casually mentions that his hook up at the studio fell thru, and oh, by the way-he's not coming with me-DAYUM! No tickets, no hook up! I decided it was pointless, and that I wasn't going. But a very good friend encouraged me to just see it thru. The night before, NO SLEEP! At the butt-crack of dawn, I go to catch the bus into NYC, armed with a huge gift bag with the gifts & a large poster I'd made that read, "All I Want For My Birthday Is To Meet Boyz II Men". I get to ABC, and the line's around the friggin' corner! I'm tired, in need of caffeine and a ladies room, but I'm not about to miss my chance to see them, even without a way inside. Finally, I get inside the studio, the guard greeted me, asked me how I was-I replied I'd be better if I had a ticket...the look he gave me was equivalent to if I'd said his feet stank thru his shoes! He asked how I got in...I said thru the door, cuz by any other means woulda just been stoopid! He tells me I can't be inside without a ticket-DUH, that's what I'm trying to get! Well, that was my thought-my actual words were more like begging & pleading, to PLEASE,please please get me inside, because none of the other hundreds who were on line deserved to be there (with exception of the other BIIM fans who were there)-they didn't even know who was on the show. But me, I traveled a great distance on my birthday JUST to see them. He almost shed a tear when he pointed me to the door...but just before I went back out, he told me to see the receptionist, maybe she could help. So, I sad-puppy-dog-faced my way to Ms. NYC Sista With A Tude, regaled her with my tale-she so eloquently told me (as only a NYC Sista Girl could) that there was nothing she could do for me unless there was a cancellation. So I go back outside, get back in line, PRAYING someone was running real late, or got a flat-something. But as I'm plotting, this van pulls up to the curb...(heartbeat...heartbeat), and I see these silhouettes inside (heartbeat...heartbeat), and they start to get out (OMG, HEART FREAKING BEAT), and standing 20 feet away from me was the SEXIEST SPECIMEN OF DARK CHOCOLATE THAT GOD EVER PUT INTO MANHOOD, SHAWN "S FOR SEXY" STOCKMAN!!!!! Man, I almost wet myself a little, I was THAT excited-but I didn't. So now, I have dilemma-this Sexual Chocolate man ("Sang so fine, don't you agree?") is right there-I could bum-rush him and get a quick but thrilling feel, pass out, or I could speak to him-well, the first 2 options do me no good, but to actually SPEAK to him? What if I say something stupid, and in front of all these people? Or what if he's a jerk, and ignores me, or says something stank back? And again, I say, in front of all these people? What to do, what to do (awww, HYPERVENTILATION, man!)...but here comes that little voice:This is possibly the ONLY chance you'll get; you've come here with nothing, so what do you have to lose at this point-you GO FOR IT!!!! "Hey, Shawn, I need to see you guys after the show, because I bought you guys gifts, but I don't have a ticket, so I can't get in, and I'm real upset about it, and I need a hug." His reply was like music to my ears: "Aw, baby, you can't get inside? Let me give you a hug then." And with outstretched arms, this man that's (at the time) 1/4th of the most award winning R & B group in history, this man who I've idolized from very far away, walked over to me, and embraced me-it was then that my heart stopped, and time stood still. For what seemed like an eternity, he just held me, and in front of all those people-no stank words, no jerk attitude. Finally, I let him go, and I spoke something to Wan on his way in. But to say I was happy does what I really felt no justice. And it was only after they'd went inside that someone on line asked why I didn't ask them to snap a pic with the camera I had strapped to my wrist-hmmm, I wonder why I didn't even think of it. So, I can go home now, right? Well, I was going to, but for some reason, stayed to watch the performance on a 3x5 monitor they brought outside for us poor saps who couldn't get in. So I see Regis say before going to commercial that BIIM would be performing next. And then, Ms NYC Sista Girl comes to the front door, points at me and tells me to come with her. She proceeds to take me inside the studio just as Wan is singing the first notes of Relax Your Mind, and I'm thinking, "It really can't get better than this,", but how wrong I was still. A lady walks over to me, didn't introduce herself, but seemed to know a bit about me, and told me to wait for her after the show-now, I don't know this lady, or how she knew who I was and stuff, and I'd got to get inside, so I'm thinking of ways to try to avoid her (I mean this IS NYC). But after the show, I reluctantly go with her backstage, where she tells me to just stand there for a few minutes, then POOF, she's gone. Soon, I hear voices behind me-I turn around, and am standing in front of Shawn again (Father, give me strength!). When he sees me, his eyes light up, and he says, "You made it!" And I said some stuff back, but it was so hard trying to concentrate of communication when all I could think of was body language. And to look them in the eyes was IMPOSSIBLE!!! But all of the fellaz greeted me, I introduced myself, told them it was my birthday (the answer is YES). Then, I gave each of them the gifts I'd bought for them, and they were very gracious and appreciative. One of the best memories!

It was 1994 and I was in fourth grade! I begged my parents to take me to the Anaheim Pond for the concert. They bought tickets. I was so excited! My first concert ever and it was to see the best group ever! Me and my dad went and sat in the 4th row. I was so excited because I was sitting close to the cast from Family Matters (Urkel). The concert was so magical and it is by far my favorite concert of all time! Thanks for the memories! See you at Nokia in March! <3

My best memory of Boyz II Men was back in '92 when my mother bought be the cooleyhighharmony cassete tape for Christmas. I was 10 then but I was HOOKED. Been following you guys ever since! CONCERT LAST NIGHT!

I along with two of my best friends drove 5 hours to see them perform last night! Thank you GPS! It seemed like everything would go wrong, but all things went right that night. LONG STORY short, during I'll Make Love to You I ran to the stage and got A LOT of good pictures (sorry GUYZ for the camera constantly flashing in your faces!). I got a rose from Shawn (he touched my hand 3 times, Wanya did too) and had them all standing right in front of me several times and looking into my eyes. (MELTING!!!!) Nate touched my hand 4 times and OMG he grabbed the mike stand so the audience could sing and he put it right above me and looked into my eyes with his eyes and I got shy (hey I can't sing AT ALL and do u really think I'm bout to let him know that?!!!) He laughed! Shawn mentioned the new cd and I whipped it out, he saw it, pointed at it and laughed. Of course it was a great concert and you'd think that was the end. NOPE! Got to do the meet and greet. Now I've met them twice already and the last time was in July 09, but my nerves omg. So I introduced myself to my boo (Nate) and asked him to sign my cd. He did along with Wanya and Shawn. Then I asked him a question,which he answered and we all had a good laugh, which only him, Wanya, Shawn, their security and my two friends will know. (I was not exhibiting groupie behavior, it was just a dare. lol) Got my pic and almost melted and we left. OMG I called my granny at midnight (she said if you knew her, you'd understand why I asked that question, cuz she would've asked the same question and she's almost 80) and texted everyone I knew! SO THANK YA'LL FOR GIVING ME YET ANOTHER GREAT CONCERT EXPERIENCE! I APPRECIATE THE TIME YA'LL TOOK OUT FOR THE FANS AND I HOPE YA'LL ENJOY THE PICS! JUST WANT TO KEEP YA'LL UPDATED ON YA'LLS LITTLEST FAN IN TEXAS! Best Memory

WOW!! I don't even know were to begin. I have a few. My first is when I met them in 1998. My sis & I just happened to be @ the right place @ the right time. It was an after concert party that was being held @ local club here in Az. My sis & I actually had tix to the concert but unfortuantley couldn't make it due to my work schedual.:( So to cheer me up my sis took me to the after party. ( just knowing that I would be in the same room as the fellas made me happy) So we got there a lil early. And after being there for almost two hours, & no sign of them @ all ,we were getting ready to leave. We knew that BIIM were not really the "club type" & thought that they were not going to show. So we headed to the door. As soon as we got to the door, the bouncer told us that we had to wait by the door for a min because he had to take care of something b4 he would let us goto our car. I stood there frozen. Because I watched as the bouncer went up to one of 3 black suvs that were in the parking lot. The window rolled down, & there sat a bodygaurd w/a BIIM pass around his neck. My sis grabbed my arm & said "are you aware of who is in there?" I just nodded my my head yes. The bouncer then came back to us, & told us that either we had to leave or we could stay. & if we were going to stay that we had go back in & stand by the wall. Of course we went back in. (dnt have to tell me twice!!) LOL. ;) Everyone else in the club seemed to be getting thier party on & not even paying attention to the door, so it was just me & my sis & the bouncer. And all the sudden in Walks Shawn, dressed in a red shirt & white pants. He stopped & said hi, & went on his way. Then came Wanya. He stopped & shook our hands & said hello & asked how we were doing. & gave me a hug. He was in jeans & and a GAP hooded gray sweatshirt. Unfortuantley he was very sick during that tour. (Evolution tour) we could tell that he wasn't feeling the greatest ( Bless his heart) but he still stopped & made time for us. Wanya I just wanted to say THANK YOU for doing that. It means so much to me. While I was talking to Wanya, Nate snuck in, & stopped right in front of me. & I LOST IT. I started crying & telling him how much I LOVE HIM, & what BIIM mean to me. Wanya just looked @ me smiled. ( guess he might have been used to it) Nate took my hand KISSED IT & said "Sshh Baby, It's ok" OMG!!! I haven't been the same since.( My heart still skips a beat every time I think about it & that was almost 12 years ago) While I was melting ( as my sis calls it) over Nate, Mike had walked in. But we never got a chance to say hello to him. Bye the way Nate was wearing jeans & black & white plaid shirt & baseball cap. & Mike was wearing a simular outfit in red & white like Shawn's. My best Boyz II Men memory.....

I was 13, 15 years ago and a friend and I went to see them play a charity basketball game. I made her stand in line for 6 hours so we could get front row behind the bench. It worked. I was maybe a foot away from Nate. That or being the 1st one to catch a rose last year from Shawn at the concert when they sang "I'll Make Love to You". I have seen them in concert before so I knew that it was coming. I pushed a girl out of the way to get up there. Not my finest moment, but it worked!

I have 3 favorite Boyz II Men memories. The first one is my first time meeting you guys.. I was 12 years old, and seeing yall in person, in front of me, was unbelievable. My second fav memory was at the video shoot for Motown: Journey Through Hitsville. I just loved the atmosphere. Yall were so playful and interacted with the fans the whole time... it was more of a friendship than a fanship that night. My last favorite memory was meeting yall backstage for the first time and getting my first hug from Wanya. Words cant even describe that feeling...

My Best Boyz II Men Memory

My best memory has to be when I was in 8th grade. This is when they released the Evolution album. The local radio station was giving away ticket. I really really wanted to go. Somehow my mother won 4 tickets. So my 8th grade graduation present was going to see my all time favorite group. Nathan, Michael, Shawn and Wanya and special guest Brian McKnight!

I was at work and I heard on the radio that BIIM would be at the Van Wezel the following Friday. I flipped out and after work I had a friend drive me to buy ticket and my face hurt so much from smiling all the way there. I called my husband and told him that we were going to see them and he was cool with that. I was so close that I didn't need my binoculars. I had never been that close to see anyone ever and it made my night.Now I drive my husband crazy everyday playing nothing but BIIM.

June 26, 1998 - A Night I'll Never Forget

My favorite memory of Boyz II Men was on June 26, 1998. I was 15 at the time and my birthday was a month before. For my belated birthday present, my aunt took me to my very first concert and I had such a great time! I couldn't even sit still because I was on my feet throughtout the entire show. Uncle Sam, Destiny's Child and Next were the opening acts but I was so looking forward to see the Boyz in action. God, Nate looked too gorgeous for me, Wanya was sexy as hell, Shawn looked delicious and Micheal looked so damn fine. I couldn't even sleep when I finally got home! That was the best night of my life!

We Need A Reunion!!

Hey Pebs! Awh I'm realizing just how much I missed all of you. I'm glad everyone is doing well & still lovin' the Boyz. We are gonna have to find a way to have a reunion!

@ Hershey: I LOVE going to Reno. I have made it an annual trip. The first time I went with friends and last year I went alone and LOVED IT. Pampered myself the whole time - did NOT want to go home. And oh yeah, I went to a really cool concert by these three dudes that sing. I forget their names...oh well. :-)

Bear with me . . .this is going to take awhile

I fell in love with Boyz II Men when I first heard them on Power 99 here at our commom hometown, Philadelphia. Motownphilly had me hooked for life. When they were scheduled to host Powerhouse (a concert by the same radio station, where they were discovered) I knew I had to go. My dad and I were shopping at Cheltenham Mall and they were giving away tickets to people that had certain items they were calling out. When they said a chocolate wrapper, I felt in my coat pocket and found a Snickers bar. I'd never been so happy to be a chocoholic! I won two tickets and then my friend won four on the radio. Along with my parents, sister and another friend we enjoyed the concert, even though they didn't perform. When my surrogate grandmother passed away on my 17th birthday, as I was listening to the radio one day that week, One Sweet Day came on and said everything I couldn't. I finally got a chance to see them perform in 2001, with Luther Vandross, which was his last concert tour as well as Michael's with the group. It was two weeks after I'd had brain surgery and though we were late (a long story) I still enjoyed it. It was another eight years before I was able to see them again, at Penns Landing for July 4th weekend. And the one that tops them all . . . meeting Shawn and Wanya at the airport in Charlotte 9 days ago, December 19th. Thank you soooooo much for the pictures. Sorry for interrupting your phone call Wanya. That was the best, unexpected Christmas present I could have gotten this year.

May 7, 2009 - Date with Hubby at BB King's

Before the show.. my husband was complaining about standing in front because he felt like a groupe and said he wanted to sit down. MAN, when Boyz II Men came out and started, Hubby was singing all them songs and really loud. He said he would come back again. It was so funny to hear him so loud at a concert and singing all the words like a little "groupe". We had such a blast, The Men certainly delivered and I also walked away with a rose but did not want to show too much excitement because I needed a ride home from husband :-) But that rose absolutely made my night. Thank you so much Boyz to Men for always bringing REAL MUSIC to us. The world will never grow tired of your music!

The first Cassette I owned a.k.a COOLEY in 1991

I felt so grown to be able to buy my own tape with my own money "Cooleyhighharmony" when I lived in Texas with my uncle and auntie before I moved back to live with my parents in Africa...and decades later found out that my future husband also had Cooley but the cd version. We almost wore ourselves out and ended up with one injury dancing to Motown Philly LOL! It was worth it though!

Lisa Lisa! Well I just rejoined the webheadz site! I'm about 100% sure that I want to go and I'm hoping that I can go depending on the price. Of course I'll be spending about 4 months of daycare, but I figure this may be a once in a lifetime memory and I've been doing so much for everyone else this year I gotta do something for myself. I just finished paying for my teaching certification classes so I'm good, but I've also decided to stay with my current job because I figured that it wouldn't be good for a teacher to take off Friday and Monday. I'm praying about it and if its meant for me to go, I'll be on the ship. I could always play daddy's little girl and borrow the money from him. lol. But anywho I love your site and if there are no webheadz there, I'll buy a shirt and represent. Girl I'm supposed to be sleep right now, but I'm up looking at your site. I remember when you were saying how your son was and now he's all grown up. Dang where does the time fly. 20 yrs from now you'll be talking about your grandkids and I'll be the one talking about Nyia in college. lol. We are either back in college, paying for college (kids) switched jobs, lost a job, had a baby...(sigh) this just isn't something we can put 2k or more into (if prices run like on the tours website)even a year ahead, I mean, the presale is what 14 days?

I'll definitely send my love and blessings but LJ just might be celebrating the 20th from her sofa @ the crib....but I know you guys will make great memories!

Rose & Concert in Chesapake, VA

My best Boyz II Men memory was at a concert in Chesapeake, VA back in 2004 I think. Now, this wasn't a hugh concert...Boyz II Men was the main act at the local Chesapeake Jubilee. I've seen Boyz II Men numerous times before and a few times at the big ampitheater with thousands of people but this concert at the Chesapeake Jubilee was the BEST concert I've ever been to. My best friend and I came to the park right after work and of course it started pouring down raining. We ran under the tent with some vendor guy who was really cool and he gave us his back stage passes. When the rain stopped we stood in front of the stage for hours to ensure that we were in the front row. When the concert finally started I was soo excited. I got a rose from Wanya. It was the very last rose and Wanya put it in my hand and was signing this long note. I was holding on for dear life. Some girl behind me tired to come from behing and take my rose. I'm normally not a violent person but I had to do what I had to do. So, I gave her a very firm elbow and gave her "the look"...Needlesss to say she moved back. Anway I got my rose that I freeze dried and I framed it along with a picture I took that night. I screamed so much I lost my voice. I couldn't talked for the rest of the weekend. Of all of the Boyz II Men concerts I've attended over the years that was the BEST CONCERT EVER!! Props to my girl for standing in the rain with me!

sad, but true

Yesterday, I lost my mom to cancer. This won't be the happiest memory, but on our way down to see her at the hospital, Motownphilly came on the radio. The radio stations around here really are horrible. One rap station, quite a few spanish stations, public radio, etc. I haven't heard BIIM on the radio around here in YEARS. But as we were driving it came on. Even though I knew what was probably going to happen when we arrived at the hospital, hearing the guys gave me hope. Hope that I knew was going to help. Last night as I was trying to get to sleep, I listened to my iPod and was able to listen to 'a song for Mama' last night for the first time in ages and it finally calmed me down to the point i could rest. I've mentioned it again and again, but the power of music really does, in times like these, soothe the soul. Thanks guys *hug*

I remember it like it was yesterday. Around 4 or 5 the day of the concert in May, I got this feeling in my heart that the Fellas had arrived, which I told my co worker. She looked at me like I was crazy. Later on, another co worker had announced that his sister just checked them in at The Courtyard Marriott. Well, I wasn't about to become 1 of those chicks tha hangs out at hotels looking for celebs. But what I did do was drive by the venue just to see the Marquee . After that, I headed to take a nap after working all night. I woke up about noon and headed to get my do whipped and nails and feet done. About 5, I was heading back home to get ready for the spotlight and Wanya. LOL j/k Around 6, I picked up my best friends little sister, then we headed to the venue. Show time at 8, opening act, Uncle Sam, Next, Kci and JoJo. Around 9ish, The Main Event, Boyz II Men. I sang every word from evbery song. Towards the end of the show, Nate was near me to the right of the stage. I was trying to tell him to send Wanya over so I could say Hi. But unfortunately Another fan told me that when she meet them that they mentioned me and I couldn't believe i he coudn't hear me. After the show I took my friends sister home and then headed to find out where the after party was. But apparently it wasn't one. I stayed up running the city till 4 in the morning. About 4:15, I gave up and headed home. My job called me in to work around 6. It was the most exciting event of my life. About 2 or so years later, I joined Boyziimen.net and I think I actually got a chance to converse with the Fellas in the chat room. I couldn't believe it until another fan who actually meet them told me that they mentioned my bame. I still coudn't beliebve that until, the fellas did a interview session with yahoo that allowed the fans to ask questions. When the host asked them my question and mentioned my name, Nate said "Wain is that K O K O?" and the host replied yes and asked if they knew this Koko and of course Nate said " yeah, we know this Koko!" Wanya said "We Know Koko Puffs" I was so shocked at what had happened that I ran away from the computer and started screaming. Then I regain my composure and went back to the computer. My friend Darion called me and was like, "Did you hear that?" I was like " yes, I did" He was like "Aqq snap Koko, you worldwide now" LOL Until this day I use Kokopuffs as a little nick name for myself . LOL Thanks Wan. LOL But on a serious note, I owe the fellas alot considering that that inspire me to do what I do now. I am a writer, radio personality and business woman because of them. Jan. 19 2009 Spirit Mountain Casino...Oregon My best friend and I went to the motown concert and it was incredible. It was her first boys II men concert and she loved it just as much as i did. The best part tho was i was able to get V.I.P. passes and after the concert we were able to get our picture taken with the boyx...it was so worth. I got to hug them and stand between Wanya and Nathan ....dream come true. I also have a rose that i cherish from Nathan from a previous concert. I truly love you guys.

Best Moment

My best memory was made last night! I finally got to see y'all in concert! Y'all were awesome and I'm still in 'awe'! I remember when y'all came out and I was only 7!!! All the posters, videos, cd's...I owned! I can't wait to see y'all again in concert! Please continue to do what y'all do best...and that is making your fans happy!!!!

Tonight is the night

My favorite memory was made tonight at your concert! The first cd I ever owned was given to me at my 12th birthday and it was Boyz II Men. I grew up listening to you guys. Tonight was a smaller show and I love being able to be apart of it and hopefully many more to come (maybe even a cruise or two). Thank you for including a special moment to give thanks to our moms and our Lord and Savior. You guys are amazing! Never stop giving us what we need and that's great music!!!

My best Boyz II Men memory happens to be when they did a free concert in Brooklyn. They started handing out roses towards the end of the show and Shawn handed me a rose!! Best moment of my life. When he smiled at me I thought I would melt. Love you guys!!!!

The Best

There have been too many... from High School, trying to practise harmony with BIIM songs in corridors to the 3 Concerts I have been to in New Zealand and meeting the guys each time!!!!.... from sitting in my room in 1992 trying to figure out whos voice mine was closest too and singing along to "End of the Road" the albums have truely been the soundtrack to my life.... I remember the Nathan Michael Shawn Wanya album getting me through leaving High School and Full Circle being present at the time of my childrens Birth!!! II was my High School Years and Winter reflections was the best Christmas I ever had in 2005.... so I will share the moment I first heard them!!! it was at camp in 1991/2 we had a talent night and a few of my friends got up and sung end of the road... and danced to Motownphilly... i had never heard these songs and was confussed by the sound.... but loved it.... I hated the rest of camp, all I wanted to do was hear those songs again!!!! so I ended up following those guys around the whole time getting them to sing to me haha... thank you for being there BIIM!!!!! and sharing all those great memories with me and shaping almost two decades of great music.. even when music wasn't so great with the industry ... I still had you!!!! Much "Love" the new album is awesome... and seeing me through my first career change in 7 years...

My Best Boyz II Men Moment

Had to be actually getting to meet you all in person in Detroit at the Motor City Casino soundboard August of 2009. You all hit all the right notes and all the right songs to make my night wonderful. I even sang my way into a closer seat! Long story but it really happend. My experience was kind of funny though because when I bought the V.I.P pass to meet you all backstage and I didn't think it was real. I thought I was being scammed :-) I went so far as to ask the security gaurds was it real because I had my hopes up extremely high, I mean meeting you guys was one of my biggest dreams that came true. While I waited in line I think I met what truly had to be your stalker from the D, at least that's what I'm calling her, she kind of freaked me out. ***SMH*** I finally met you all and you guys had wonderful personalities and were some goof balls which I loved. I think I may be typing a little to much so I'll end it by saying YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!! WHOO HOO ;-)

Concert

My best memory was last year, precisely in 5 June 2008, in Brisbane, (Motown: Hitsville USA). Although I was born in Brazil, i was in Australia to learn English (so difficult yet, lol). That time i am not able to speak English at all, but, of course, I couldn't miss that concert. So I found the place that was selling tickets, I bought mine and I ran to computer to write to everybody that I was going to Boyz II Men concert. (we have a web site "orkut", like facebook, very famous in Brazil that have about 8.000 Boyz II Men brazilians fans). And everybody was happy and waiting i go back to tell them which music they had sung, and about the concert anyway. When I get there, very early, I found the place not very big, then I thought: "I can believe that I will see the guys very close and clear". Cause for us, that live so far way, is kind impossible to see close or have a conversation with famous people like Wanya, Nathan and Shawn. But the dream came true and I stayed like third row and I could see and enjoy all concert. Unfortunately I couldn't talk with you guys after concert (I've tried, I asked the security, but like I told before, probably he didn't understand me very well, lol). But everything was amazing, and, I don't know when or where, but I'll go in another concert again. I really believe that. Thank you. PS: I got the new CD "Love" I really enjoy, especially "Misty Blue", is amazing. I hope a day I can talk with you guys. Thank you very much.

#1 Boyz II Men Memory

Okay so I have probably been one of the luckier ones and had the opportunity to meet Boyz II Men more then once and I am a huge fan on them and have been since they first hit the air waves. My number 1 Boyz II Men memory was when they came to Chesapeake, VA to perform at the Chesapeake Jubilee. I ran into them at a hotel in that area and Boyz II Men were having dinner. Shawn offered me to have a seat with them. They were so down to earth. Shawn even offered me some of his food. Then after they finished dinner they decided to head out to the movies right across from their hotel. I gave them all a hug a figured I would see them soon. We proceeded to walk out of the hotel and Nate, Shawn, and Wanya were going to walk to the movies, but it was raining and cold out. Nate did not want to walk. I then offered him a ride. I never would of thought but he took me up on it and said yes of course. I was very surprised that his security guys let him ride with me. They didn't even blink an eye. Never did I think he would say okay. At that time I was driving a Ford Focus. Ughh wish I would of had my Acura then. But its okay. I got to the movies and Nate got out and gave me a big hug and said thanks! That is a memory I will truly never forget, Nate riding with me in my car! Boyz II Men are the most down to earth people and I will always be a huge fan and support their music in any way I can.

Favorite Memory

I have several, but I'll go with the best 1st one. I've been a fan from the beginning and back in 1998 you guys scheduled a concert not far from where I live. My parents had a strict "no concert until you're 18" rule. The tickets went on sale the day after my 13th birthday. I was calling radio stations relentlessly trying to see about getting tickets. Sure enough on the day after my birthday my mom ordered the tickets knowing I'd be the most miserable and depressed kid ever. We really didn't have the money for it either. I went with my sister and her friend (no longer with us) and had a fantastic time. I tried to meet you guys but didn't. I got a wave from a couple of you because I was standing near the backstage area. It was a dream come true to finally see you live. I went home and did not sleep at all that night or the following day. I was so pumped up I couldn't. I still get just as excited to see you when I get the chance. You're amazing live and prove it every time!!

My Un-Moment

The only real moment i had was when they were coming to wilmington delaware about 10 years ago and my mom surprised me with tickets. I was soooooo excited that i had a chance finally to go see my all time favorite group. Then the moment passed because the concert was cancelled. But it's ok i know i will see them so enought. I hope that the boys come back to their hometown of Philly so i can go this time around.

My BIIM Memory

It was in 1994 or 1995 don't remember but I lost my job on the same day as my first BIIM concert @ Nassau Colliseum. I had NO money but a full tank of gas and my ticket. So i drove for 2 hours to the show....parked for free (winked at the attendant) and had the time of my life. Unfortunately that was my first and last show. I"ve gotta step my game up. LOL but i own every cd! love u guys! E

Front row EPCOT

My wife and I had moved out of Orlando in June of 2008. However, we still had our annual passes so that October we hopped on Southwest and flew back down. We were camped out front of the line for 2 days. We got to see 4 of the 6 shows from the front row. Dancing with my wife to I'll Make Love to You and having her score roses from the Boyz each show was awesome. We also got to meet some other really crazy Boyz II Men fans. Zha and Justin - you two rock. Hope to see you again soon. Boyz II Men has been a part of my life since Motownphilly dropped. I grew up "with" them. My wife and I chose "Color of Love" as our wedding song. I guess the point being - too many memories to narrow it down to just one. Here's hoping for many more.

My Best Memory

Well I would have to go with the most recent and that would be Saturday December 5th of this year in A.C i enjoyed myself so much the way you guys performed on stage it was wonderful and then you had us laughing most of the time remember " Nate" its okay babe it happens and we were laughing with you not at you sweetie But back to the title i call it a Best Memory Simply because i completely showed my 11 year old daughter that music is not always cursing, or walking around with you pants hanging down while performing etc. Its You BoyzllMen Music is You and it lives in You so deep that it touched my daughter so much she talks about the show almost everyday and when she gets in the car with me she like mom put boyzllmen on and for her not to ask to listen to the rap and cursing crap im like now thats what im talking about baby girl! So we Thankyou and we love you and she still has her rose from shawn and keeps memories of all of you in her heart im just glad i proved my point that BoyzllMen is the Best.

Best Boyz II Men Memory

This past September, Boyz II Men performed at the Big E Fair/Carnival in Springfield, MA. I had never seen them life before and have been a fan my entire life. The concert was AMAZING and afterward my friends and I got to meet the guys, get a hug and take a picture. It was the best birthday present I ever paid for, for myself!!

Westin Hotel-Chicago

If I remember correctly it was 1991 or 92 and your tour bus was outside of the Westin Hotel in Chicago off of Michigan Avenue and my stepfather worked as a chef and called to tell me that you guys were there and I needed to come as soon as possible if I wanted to meet BoyzIIMen. I was an hour away and couldn't make it to you all in time, but my dear stepfather somehow got onto the tour bus and talked told you all about me and came home with a poster of you all in those brown and white suede coats (signed by all of you) and some other things you had given him. I couldn't sleep for days after this and your poster hung in my room for years. I'm forever greatful and thanks for the memories!!! Sharetta (Illinois)

My wedding day...

My husband and I have been huge fans since before we had even met. So, it was perfect that we chose to play Boyz II Men at our wedding. I actually walked down the aisle to "I Do" and our song "Thank you in Advance" played before we said our vows. We still dance to it every year on our anniversary 9 years later. Thank you!

Ha. I tell you what. You guys have a way of reaching into a person's heart thru music. In 2008 I went to my first BIIM concert at Disney's Epcot Park in Orlando. I pretty much was at every concert and in the front. You guys sang a "Song for Mama" and I had to get mine on the phone. I told her to listen up cause this song was for you! And thats when Nate walked up to me and picked up my cell and Gave it to Wayna. The whole time I was praying my mama wouldnt hang up the fone and later fuss at me for messing with her. But She felt very honored to have you guys serenate her, you could have just sang the song and moved on. But what seemed like a simple gesture to you, meant the world to my mother and me. Her mother recently passed away and she dedicated that to her. So I am so greatful and thankful. Please continue to bring us real music, you are a role model to me and any other young singers. Memory

I had just gotten the album Throwback, and even though I love the entire album, one song sticks out is your version of "I Miss You". Though the album was released a few years ago, I only recently got the album last year, during the time when my mom was sick in the hospital. Your duet with Mariah Carey "One Sweet Day" is the song I cry on when I think of my dad, who passed away of a heart attack in 2001; however when I hear your version of "I Miss You", I cry because I miss my mom and my dad. When I hear the song and the way that Wayna brings the chorus home near the end, has me crying beyong control. When my mom passed last October, I played that song because even though they are both gone, the memories of my childhood and them is there. Thank you again for all of the memories thru your music, especially these songs.

I-Scream

It was December 23rd, 2007. MY BIRTHDAY. I went to a concert named I-Scream in Jamaica and Boyz II Men, the best group with the best voices i've ever heard, were the main attraction. I grew up watching your videos on t.v. after the cartoons finished in the afternoon on CVM. I asked my mom to send me, and my brother (bless his heart) carried me with my best friend and cousin. We live near Kingston, and we traveled all the way to James Bond Beach for the concert. I sang so loud with you guys that the people around me moved. And when Shawn said we were to call our mothers (i called mine) and then you guys began singing Moma, i cried. Because i used to take my mother for granted. Now she is my world. I have honestly told people that it was the best moment of my life. Well i turned 18 then, and now i'm gonna be 20 in two days. I read that you guys were coming to Jamaica for Shaggy's benefit concert. Its good because the children's hospital needs the help. I would really love to go see you guys and i doubt that it will be possible but, also meet you. Unfortunately, i'm not gonna be able to go because i cant afford the ticket. But i know you guys will deliver, and those people who will attend will come away with a special memory of their own :).

my best memory was when Boyz came to peoria, il for my first concert....i was 9 when i went to the concert and i made my mom go out and buy me a phoenix suns sweatsuit to wear to the concert because they were on mtv wearing them haha. it was a great concert and i won't forget it!

I have another great memory of when I was a kid I was in the hospital & when I came home my family threw me a BIIM style welcome home party had room decorated cleaned my bed made & then I noticed something a lil wierd they had what just looked like a pile of my dads clothes laying on my bed so rolled over to my bed & I looked & they had made a wanya dummy dressed up & everything just laying there I saw that & I CRACKED UP!!!!!!

September 9, 2000. In February of that year, I proclaimed to my family that I was going to meet them. Of course, I received chuckles. September, my prayer came to pass. I've lived through MANY MANY joyful times in my life, but meeting Shawn and Michael ranks high (like right after the birth of my children high). I have a BIIM platinum plaque and took it with me to the concert, by chance. It was spotted by a gentleman named Greg who was sitting with family members of BIIM He called me over because they wanted to see it and I took the chance and asked him to get it signed for me. I was nervous as heck cus he had it for a long while, but then later returned it. He later visited my area and offered me the opportunity to go back and meet BIIM but that required me to miss part of Luther Vandross' performance. NO BRAINER. Yes, still on cloud nine. Shawn was SOOOOOOO kind, genuine and a gentleman!!! Michael was such a sweetheart. As I was leaving, I was fortunate to meet Wanya as he was preparing to get on his motorcycle and jet. He too was very kind. There were many other opportunity to be in their audience, but that was the first time I saw the MEN that started out as Boyz II Men.. and that was the last opportunity I had to attend a Luther Vandross concert. Pff, there are so much.. saw them twice in Holland.. can't get enough of this music.. like today, I was walking on the streets, listening to BIIM on my Ipod.. Im home, BIIM, Im working.. jamming BIIM, making love.. uhu.. BIIM ;) I think that the best memory of BIIM is that when I was introduced by their music.. First album was Legacy.. Listened that album a thousand times!

My mother reminded me yesterday of her favorite moment...I left to live with my father in the 9th grade as I saw my focus slipping away from school and that wouldn't do for me. This was in 1994. I was in such a rush that I left all my music behind and the wicked sisters didn't want me to have them so they trashed them. I tried for my dad to buy me cd's and he refused. I called my mother crying and begged her to buy me the cd's. She finally did but I had to wait until my birthday to get them. She threatened that if I didn't still have them now that she would have to spank me! Ha ha! At almost 30, I can't imagine getting a spanking! Too bad for her that my love for the men is deep and I will never have to go through anything like that again. She couldn't believe that my love is still strong though she was glad as not just one store carried Boyz II Men. Every time a new cd released that was my present from mom.

I was told there are usually about 100 VIP passes an sale for the meet and greet, so it all depends on the number of people waiting in line. There are usually two of their crew members who will take your camera, when it's your turn and take the picture for you. Normally you can take two photos (maybe three if there are several of you together and you want group and individual photos, they're very patient :)). You can also take photos of them while you're waiting in line, if you're in the same room of course. You can talk to them very briefly, although I usually just stand there like an idiot and stare at them (lol), shake hands, give them a hug, whatever you want, really.......well, not whatever, but you get my point LMAO. They are very kind and down to earth. You can ask them for autographs, that's usually not a problem, unless they have to be somewhere else right after the show, then you are requested not to ask them for autographs, cause it would take too long. From my experience you usually have about 3 minutes with them and not more than 5 so make the most of it. Nobody rushes you, but if you go on and on and on..., their security guyz might have to ask you to leave because there are other people waiting lol.

My best memory thus far!

My best memory thus far was when I went to see the Boyz in Atlantic City, NJ. They rocked the house at Resorts. I had no voice the next day. It was AWESOME even though I did not get a rose- and sat at the second table from the stage. Everyone was pushing the older people sitting in the front and I felt bad doing so. It was crazy! Besides I had already gotten a rose back in 1996 in N.Y.C. WHICH I STILL HAVE so I let it be. So everyone thought it was going to be the end of the show when those sexy men did a tribute to MJ who had passed that week. They sang a few clips of MJ's songs {you can find the clip on Youtube}. I happened to be standing by the right side of the stage and was so close to be able to see Shawn's ring "LOVE" as he sang. At one point Wanya came over to me and took my hand and sang the a verse while holding my hand. I could not breathe- I stumbled to take a pic of him and was only able to get a very close up of his face dripping with sweat as he worked it for us! ALTHOUGHT THIS MEMORY DOES NOT SEEM TO BE ALL THAT WHEN COMPARED TO THE ONES I HAVE READ THUS FAR-- IT IS FOR ME!!! I HAVE BEEN A FAN SINCE FOREVER AND A DAY. AND I KNOW THIS MEMORY WILL BE TOPPED WHEN I FINALLY GET A CHANCE TO GET A BACK STAGE PASS TO SEE THEM! P.S. Can anyone tell me what happens when you get those back stage passes? I alsmost did get one back on June 26 at Resorts but my husband who I dragged to the concert with me would not let me drag him that far. LOL Do they give you a time limit with each member? What is the atmosphere like? Do they let the fans take pictures?

Best BIIM Moment - EPCOT, Orlando FL, Wednesday, October 28, 2009

Well, my best moment ever of the Boyz was very recent. I saw them perform in Orlando, Florida at EPCOT. My job doesn't really allow me to do much travel, but when I heard BIIM would be in Disney World for three days, I just couldn't pass that up, so I asked my husband to drive me to Orlando, and I had a blast!! This was my very first concert that I got to be so close to the Boyz. I had been waiting to get a rose since my first time seeing BIIM in 1996, and Nathan handed me a rose on that day during their first performance of three. Their performance as always was phenomenal and took my breath away. I nearly lost it when Shawn came over, shook my hand and said "Thank You" after I told him he was "Awesome." Also, I had the chance to shake Nathan's hand as well. I am so glad that I have a understanding husband that knows my love for Boyz II Men is of a different kind, because I just go crazy at those concerts! And that concludes my most memorable Boyz II Men moment. Nate, Shawn, and Wanya, you guys gave me a wonderful memory that I will cherish always. I do hope to have more memories when you guys hopefully come to Florida again. I am absolutely in love with your talent and support everything you do to keep giving "real" fans what they want.........More and more "Boyz II Men."

Tonight in Lexington, KY was incredible........I loved the meet & greet after the show, got my rose from Wanya, and got some great pictures thanks to the manager guy!! They should come to KY more often. :) The BIIM cover of Iris, is so much better than the original.

I still remember the first time I heard "I Do" The album had not been released yet so i had never heard it, and you started singing acapella and my heart skipped a beat. It was years ago at I think foxwoods casino in connecticut. I love that song so much your voices are perfect singing it.

Best BIIM Memory

Senior Year in High School-We were in the cafeteria at school before the PA kids had to go to our early morning class and were all listening to the All Around the World track on II and we (the girls) were listening for our names while we were teasing all of the acapella BIIM wannabe groups in our school. They figured if BIIM went to a Performing Arts school then they were next in line because we were at a Performing Arts School any way we spent the whole year jamming to II and at tje end of the year at graduation three of us asked our firends and family not to get us graduation gifts but to give us money instead so that we could buy tickets to see Boyz II Men at the Budweiser Superfest in a few weeks. We were all luck enough to get up enough money to buy our tickets. It was a great night until we got in trouble for setting off my friend's home security alarm after she tried to imitate Wanya throwing a stool across the stage while he was singing Bended Knee. Thank you Gentlemen for the smile that this memory put on my face and for being part of the soundtrack of my life. Best Wishes on your continued success.

It was 1991 - I was ten yrs old and being the youngest of seven, I was always the sheltered, spoiled one. My oldest brother had just come back from a high school trip to Virginia and we were watching MTV. I remember Heavy D's "Now That We Found Love" had just went off and then "MotownPhilly" came on and he was shouting "Oh man, these boys are bad ya'll !! Everyone in Virginia was talking about them .. We watched the video one time and we all we hooked! I loved the video and as a child it was so funny and entertaining to watch. I was amused by the huge bday cake like WTF? lol .. and seeing Shawn for the first time .. omg I was in love!! There was no one like B2M at the time .. They were just perfect*

Concert in Miami(1993)

I was so hyped about the concert that I actually went alone. I was on the side of the stage sitting with my legs crossed, didn't go up to the side because I was alone and trying to look cute! LOL. Wanya was giving out roses and called me up to the side to get one along with other screaming fans... I pointed at myself to make sure he meant me. He shook his head yes and pointed again saying YOU.............Boy was I excited to get one!!! Well I reached up to catch it with a huge smile one my face, and some TRAMP(excuse my hostility), jumped over me and snatched it right out my grasp. Wanya laughed and shrugged .......he said sorry. It was just my luck that it was the last one. I can laugh at it now, but boy I was HOTT!!

My first encounter

I'm 30 years old and have been a fan for over half of my life. My best memory is when the Boyz came to Alexandria, VA in July, 2007. I drove for 6 hours to be there.... Left at 9am to make sure I was first in line. I waited in the parking lot for another 4-5 hours for the show. I saw the van pull up that delivered the roses for the show and started crying. I had to pee so badly, but didn't leave the parking lot for fear of losing my spot in line. Finally I was able to be on the front row, got a rose from Wanya and cried through the entire concert. The amazing part was that I got to do the meet and greet after the show, meeting them for the first time ever. I told them how much their music had helped me in life and started crying again. I love them so much!!

Greatest Boyz 2 Men moment

My favorite Boyz 2 Men is when they were introduced to the world for the first time. Although there were many greats before them Boyz 2 Mens introduction to the world will forever be the greatest moment in music history as it still is with each new cd they release. Not to mention they are the sweetest men in person.

Good Luck Tara!

Lisa, tell Tara I said Good Luck. Girl not too long ago I was where she is and that last month is so frustrating. lol. I had to get a lot of ultrasounds for baby, so I was always glad to see her on the screen, but it was the waiting! I couldn't wait to see what she looked liked. I kept doing all those things that people say to do to get the baby to come, but then it was like I had to stop because I was 1hr n 45mins away from my family so I would have to drive myself to the hospital that was 5 mins away. lol. Luckily (for me lol) my daughter was breach and I had to get a scheduled c-section. I was like I want it now! Oh the pains of that last month. Tell her to try to enjoy it as much as she can, because for the next 6 wks she won't get any sleep!!!! Tell her her baby does not hate her and she will be a good mother. And when people tell you, sleep when the baby sleeps, DO THAT! Esp if this is her first, tell her don't have NO SHAME, more people will see her in her birthday suit at the hospital now than ever before. She's gonna have a whole new respect for her body. lol. It gets better each day of motherhood. Buy a size bigger because they grow a lot, buy diapers and wipes in bulk, Dr. Brown's bottles work well for a baby who won't latch on to other diapers, sign up on all the formula, diaper, and baby food sites for coupons! Sorry so long, I'm still a new mommy (Nyia is 9 months) so I love to talk about my experiences! BTW the PHD thing was posted in Jet when it happened.

That was the first time we ever saw him post the PHD on the end of his name so of course Me & Tara just HAD to come up with jokes because there was NO WAY this man had the time to get a PHD in anything - unless it was a "Player Haters Degree"! Seriously, we thought he was joking with us despite the fact that he told us he had 'done the work' for it. So then Tara says "Nate, if you have a PHD, then I'm Whitney Houston!"

Then somebody actually produced a picture of Boyz II Men at Drexel University getting honorary PHD's. Needless to say we were picking our faces up off the floor and Tara has been known as "Whitney" ever since. (lol)

He forgave us - I think. Every time he sees Tara he give her the 'stanky face' - that just means he likes her. :-) But he cant be too mean to Whitney...she has the 'infamous' picture of him falling off the stage...lol

Yeah, the shoe bit IS funny and sounds just LIKE them!

But what I'm loving now is seeing the variety of "Best Moments". i noticed some fans are posting memories to events that they weren't PHYSICALLY present for. Whether they just saw them on TV or heard one of their songs at the right time. That just speaks volumes to the impact BIIM has on their fans. The guys through all of this has created a passion in us that is lasting. Through our breakups and makeups. Through our tears of sorrow and our joy. Through our crazy and our peace. Through our fears and strengthening. Through our mishaps and breakthroughs. I thank them for that gift. So now I'm off to submit this post to Hallmark! Bye, yal.

Greatest Boyz II Men Memory

Itz hard to pick just 1 but id have to say 1993 Soul Train Awards. You guyz opened the show with the greatest medley of hits and also won like 3 or 4 awards. I was like the happiest BIIM fan there waz, in fact i still have that awards show on a VHS tape in my collection. Also The World Music Awards the year ya'll sang "End Of The Road" and the late great Michael Jackson was cheering you guyz on in the audience that iz also a fond Boyz II Men moment. But regardless if itz an album or live performance ya'll alwayz bring it and what seperatez ya'll from other groups and solo artists az well iz that ya'll sound just az good or better than tha album in person and that iz something you dont get from most artists theze dayz in tha "autotune" era. But that iz tha reason ya'll are my favorite group of all time. True talent and great songz, keep doing what ya'll do!!

it was april 1995 the fellas were wrapping up the show with end of the road & motownphilly. just before they performed these songs they had a quick wardrobe change. they got got through end of the road and went into motownphilly right away. the crowd got was pumped and so were the guys as they started running around all over the stage. the change of clothes must have been pretty frantic because shawn ended up losing a shoe. being professional he kept up with the performance by just chucking the shoe out into the crowd. the other three saw this happening and followed along. so by the end of the concert all four of them were shoeless and ended up with one of michael's, which i still have going on 15 years later.

Memories

I am going to see BIIM for the FIRST TIME on Dec. 19th in Lexington, KY. I absolutely can't wait!!! I know it is going to be amazing, I will have a memory to post on Sat. night. This has been a long time coming!!!! 4th ROW!!!!

Best Boyz II Men memories ...

I have a couple of live Boyz II Men memories ... The first time I ever saw the guys was shortly after they hit the seen in North America. I went to a concert headlined by MC Hammer and he was backed by the likes of Boyz II Men and 2 or 3 other great groups during that time. It was a fantastic concert all round ... I think it was just after the release of Cooleyhighharmony. My next favourite moment had to be last year in Bristol, UK when the guys performed at the Academy. It was a small venue and very very cool. The guys were sounding perfect and looked really great. Another moment didn't involve seeing the guys at all but reading my Grandfather's eulogy to Hard to Say Good Bye to Yesterday. I did it to the version that had the dedications to some of the greats ... when ever I hear that song it brings me back to the day I read my Grandfather's eulogy. I'm hoping to add another great Boyz II Men moment next year in Cardiff. I'm sure the guys will put on a fantastic show and I can't wait ... Keep up the great work guys ... I really love your music ...

Rained out MLK concert August 2007

Among others, one of my favorite Boys II Men moment was the summer of 2007. My husband know how much I love the fellows. He heard that they would be at the concert and decided that he would take me. I was expecting our daughter at the time and was on bed rest...doctors orders. It began raining and so he decided that it would be in our (mine and the baby's) best interest that we did not go. After convincing him that everything would be find, he reluctantly gave in and took me. when we got there it began to pour. A lot of people did not show up for the event because of the rain but for those of us who brave the rain we were rewarded with one of the best performances ever....... it became an intimate show. the fellows came off the stage and was interacting with the crowd. I love this because I got to rub shoulders with them. I thought that that was awesome. When they began giving out roses I was sure that i wouldn't receive one, because of my condition and all not wanting to over exert myself and all. It seems Mr. Nathan read my mind and came over and handed me a rose. ....Thanks guys.

Best Memories

Wow, there are couple that I would like to share: First I'll always rememmber around the time Evolution was coming out. I was in Junior High School and all week I made sure to tell my Mom that she had to take me to the music store as soon as I got out of school to pick up the CD the first day it came out. When I came home from school that day i ran up my steps threw my bookbag on the floor and said lets go mom! She said "I can't I have company over". She then said "go bring your books to your room and look on your desk". Of course to my suprise there was Evolution sitting on my desk. Ironically, the song Mama is on that CD. Great Memory and till this day I will never miss getting a Boyz II Men cd the first release date. Second: Meeting my musical idols for the first time. I had no idea it was even going to be possible. I bought tickets for BB Kings Blues Club earlier this year just so I can watch you guys. Then when I got there I saw these ppl wearing these VIP passes and when they told me I could buy one to meet you guys I couldn't believe it. Of course I bought one and I finally had a chance to meet my idols. I also got to meet you guys again last week in AC and that was just as awesome. You guys are the reason why I love music. You shaped my life musically, as I like Doo Wop, R&B, Motown is all because of you guys. To me Boys II Men should be a considered a Genre on its own. Your Legends, simply put.

My favorite memory

I have so many great memories but I'll tell you one of my best and one of my "worst". One of my best memories is from July 2007 when they came to the Birchmere Music Hall in Alexandria, Virginia. Before going, I had no idea there would be an official Meet and Greet but I took CD covers with me anyway because I was determined some way or another to meet them and get something signed. Anyway, I bought the pass for the Meet and Greet and when it was time to meet them I was so excited. I took a picture with the group and then asked "Can I get a picture with just Shawn?" Imagine my surprise when Shawn said yes. Nate and Wanya were joking like "fine, then. We don't want to be in the picture anyway". Now since Shawn is married, I figured it just be a picture of us standing next to each other. I was in total shock when Shawn put his arm around my waist, pulled me close, and leaned his head in toward mine for the picture. My eyes in the picture says it all about how HAPPY I was right at that moment. My "worst" memory involves them but wasn't their fault. Back in January 1995, I wrote to the Oprah Show about something a guest said on her show that hurt me so bad because of my own personal situation. In about November, I was called by the Oprah Show to be a possible guest on the show. I didn't make it on the show but then in January 1996 I received another call from another Oprah Show producer/worker. She said that she just checks on people who've written to the show to see how they are doing. I told her I was fine, blah, blah, blah. I then asked her if they ever did a show where they introduce fans to their favorite stars could I please come meet Boyz II Men. The lady laughed and said something to the effect of Boyz II Men and Jonathan Taylor Thomas being the most requested people. Wouldn't you know it, the very next month on Valentine's Day Boyz II Men was on the Oprah show. I was in my dorm room CRYING!!!! The topic was something about extrodinary teens. I remember that the girl who was meeting Boyz II Men was young and taking care of her sick mother while maintaining her grades in school and a posiive attitude. Now, I totally understand how she got to actually meet them and got their bears, and had them sing to her BUT I should have been in the audience. My roommate was there with me, trying to console me because she knew how big of a fan I was. She had to field a bunch of calls to the room of people calling to check on me. I remember distinctly her telling one person "She's not doing too well". Seriously, for about 5 years after that, tears still came to my eyes when I told that story.

My best memory...

.....was this year at the Food and Wine festival. Drove almost 4 hours to Orlando from Miami.I waited all day to see you guys perform. I sat a little way back from the stage the first show so I ran like a bat outta hell to make sure I was closer for the secound show. My daughter has this thing where she covers her ears when things get loud. So Shawn saw her covering her ears and sorta imitated her doing it. I was just blown away that of all the people in this massive group he recognized her. Then to add just that extra touch of delight, Wanya and Shawn signed my "Nathan,Michael,Shawn,Wanya" album cover which is probably my fave biim album. Hopefully I'll get Nathan and Michaels signiture next year during one of the 20th Anniversary performances. Naturally my 3 year old daughter now knows each of you by name. She was super excited to see Shawn on NBC for The Sing-Off.Thanks for the memories guys. I can't wait to see what lasting memory you'll create for me in the future. Love you guys!!!! PS. 14 years later...

i saw boyz ii men both times they were in winnipeg - september 2005 and february 2009... the feb 2009 experience was amazing - front row, got my rose from nathan, and got to meet them after the show with my husband and two best friends... they were so amazing on and off-stage... if you're touring for LOVE, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE come back to winnipeg!!!

welllll...

I've been a fan since i was around 13 i guess, but never had the chance to see them live till this year. I truly lucked out this year, because i not only got to see them live not once, but TWICE! It felt kinda silly at first, but both concerts were special in their own ways. Concert one: Santa Maria, CA. I'll never forget the true thrill when the guys came up for the first song and started to sing. It was SO surreal after being a fan for so many years, listening to the "canned" versions on tapes and cds, and having a poster or two on the wall in my room growing up... haha... I didn't have enough cash at the time for the passes but as i left that night I was on cloud nine. Concert two: I found out they were going to be in Agoura Hills about 5 days before my birthday, and although it was my first time driving that far (just got my license for the first time this year, at 27 years old-long story there, but never mind about that.. lol) it was totally worth it. The venue was kind of odd, but I got my first rose that night, and splurged on a pass at the end. I got totally tongue tied, but was able to (fairly calmly) express my gratitude for an awesome show. I've mentioned it in other comments, but this music has been so healing for me this year, helping my mom battle her illness. I'm so grateful for this group, their talent, and what they've given us fans for so many years. :) Thanks so much, "Cause even though when times got rough, you never turned away, you were right there, and I thank you..."

WOW AMA

I just want to say to you how wonderful your story was as well. It meant a great deal to me because my son is also autistic. And hearing your story made me remember when he was just 7 months old, how Boyz II Men saved my life with a song! I was driving by myself with my two kids from NJ to TX. And my son would NOT stop crying...until I put Full Circle into my cd played and went to "Oh Well". He literally stopped ALL SOUND and just listened. Soon as I turned it off, crying AGAIN. Long story short, I played that track OVER and OVER through West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, and a good part of Texas. By the time I got into Fort Hood, my daughter..who was about 3 at the time...could sing the entire song! Alright, I promise I'm done posting...until tomorrow! lol

Best Memory....

I would definitely have to say it's a tie....My first would be when I won a trip from one of the radio stations here in Oklahoma City to see you guys and a lot of other acts in Vegas for free! They paid for my flight, hotel, and for me to get into the show. It was the first time I had been to Vegas and the first time I saw you guys perform live! ....the second would be when I got to see you guys and take a pic with you this year in Norman, OK! Some of my friends try and act like they don't still listen to you guys, but when they saw my pic with yall, they freaked out, lol!

No front row seats or roses . . .

but this one is so, so special to me. Like many people here, I'm sure, I grew up listening to Boyz II Men and am now enjoying sharing that love with my kids. A couple of months ago we went to a performance at Disney (my 15 month old daughter is already a seasoned Boyz II Men fan after seeing her first show at 9 weeks old!). My 4 year old son is on the autism spectrum, and barely talks, has never sung or danced and is not really one to show too much excitement about anything (unless it happens to be a penguin). There we were at the show, and Asher starts to really pay attention . . . the next thing I know he starts dancing. It totally made my heart melt. Such a special moment for me.

So many great memories, but thus far my favorite is...

I have attended every Boyz concert in Milwaukee. I was attending the Boyz show on November 29th,2003 @ the Oriental Theater with my best friend. When I ordered the tickets, I was told that I was the 1st person to purchase tickets. He couldn't tell me where I would be sitting,but that it was a smaller venue and we would have great seats no matter where we sat. To much surprise, our seats were in the front row, almost dead center. The stage was literally like inches away from my seat. The concert was awesome. I got some great pictures..and a rose from Nate. At the end of the concert before leaving the stage, the Boyz were shaking hands, giving hugs to the ladies. Nate was standing in front of me. I looked up at him and asked if I could have his towel, that was on his shoulder. He gave it to me! I would have stayed to meet them after the show,but I had to get home to my son. I look forward to more Boyz memories in the future, and hopefully even meeting them. Love you guys...

I waited so long to have this one....

After 19 years I finally got to attend a concert & meet the fellas at the NYS Fair concert and couldn't have been any happier. I'd been to multiple events and something always came up, the last being the Rochester Music Fest that got rained out. At the Fair, I didn't know until last minute that there was meet and greet and luckily I still had $40 cash in my purse. I got two passes, gave one to my friend and when I was next in line Shawn looked my way and said "Hi there Sweetheart" hence my user name. When I gave them all hugs Shawn said..."Oooohhh, you smell good", Nathan said, "Yeah you do smell real good" and Wayna said, "Yes you do smell good" I will never forget that. (My friend did say something else happened when I was hugging Shawn which made me melt!) During the concert I was right in front and the lady next to me really wanted Wanya's towel (she ended up taking Nathan's) I do wish I would've received a rose though. I can't wait until the next show, I'll be right in front no matter the cost!

Dude!! I just watched the link to the AMA performance. I really don't think I saw that before. Thanks for that. Goodness, they were so young! And to see Funky cry...wow! I've seen him emotional, but that even tugged on MY heartstrings a little!

I have so many, but this one works...

I didn't have a lot of cash to spend on a concert, even though I know BIIM was going to be at Motor City Casino. Up to the last minute I didn't think I could afford it. I finally bit the bullet and got online to buy one single ticket-none of my friends could go with me. My husband would have to watch our son. I got to the concert and had a blast listening to your voices! If only I could have been in the front seat to get a rose. After the concert the MC said there would be a meet and greet afterward, but you had to have a pass. And I didn't have one. They also stated if you didn't have a pass they would be sold at the door and to wait. We (me and some other fans) were walking around looking for someone selling the passes to no avail. Then I saw this group of people standing and this lady was talking about the passes. I asked if the lady was selling them. She said, with an attitude, "I'm not selling anything!" I started to walk away. One of the other girls grabbed my arm and made me stay. The lady, who was a marketing director for the casino, gave us all passes to meet BIIM. I still can't believe my luck. I love you guys!!! Christmas came early for me in 2008!!!

I didn't realize how MUCH I would enjoy reading everyone else's stories. Janaki, yours was absolutely ADORABLE. How great is it that we ALL have special moments? That we all can say, "Shawn remembered me!" "Wanya saw me and waved!" "Nate actually asked me how I was doing and gave me a hug!"(ok....the last one was personal...and yeah, I'm still in shock. LOL) This is just proving of how the guys appreciate and respect ALL of their fans. Ladies and gentlemen...we are ALL special and we are all blessed to have theses cats as part of our family. Let's keep the 'Love' going. This is a MUCH better vibe to dwell in!

My Special Memories

Wow, I've had more Boyz II Men moments than I ever could have imagined way back during my 1991-1994, tape every appearance, muzzle everyone in the room when a BIIM video is on days. I’ve had a special moment with each guy. Let's begin with the year 2005, location; Merrillville, Indiana; Star Plaza Theater. A group of us caught the show and after the guyz performed we immediately headed to the lobby, purchased a concert tee and spent time just enjoying the surroundings of the venue. At one point we turned a corner and who do I see headed up the stairway with security, none other than Mr. Wanya "Last Rose" Morris. I came out of character and screamed "Noooooooo, you can't leave" and he proceeded to turn around, I threw my camera at someone and said take this pic. I embraced him, told him I loved him (still can't believe I did that) and said CHEESE! In the next breath he was gone, but I had finally had my moment. A few months after that the guyz were in my hometown and I received “THE LAST ROSE” from Wanya. You couldn’t tell me anything after that show, I had died and gone to Heaven. It was a wrap! Fast forward 2006, location; Gary, Indiana; Boyz II Men singing what I have dubbed the "Rose Song". I noticed that each guy had their usual red roses, but there was 1 white rose in the bunch. Immediately my mind is set on getting the white rose and Mr. Nathan “Right On Time” Morris made eye contact with me, grabbed the white rose and sent it my way. I was ecstatic. I loved him that day and still do. Hey Nate…How YOU doing?!!! LOL Which now leads me to 2009, location; Atlantic City, the Resorts Hotel; another "Rose Song" moment, this one with Mr. Shawn “Sing-Off” Stockman. The last time I had seen him I mentioned that my crew had all received a rose except for me. When he saw me in AC, that conversation had slipped my mind, but when it came time he hooked me up. I appreciated him for remembering and won’t soon forget it. Thanks guyz for the memories and I look forward to many more in 2010!!!

Alrighty Cont...

The next night in Brisbane my (really beautiful & charismatic) sister managed to talk her way into the front section of the show where mum & I were - I had our spot at the front & i was not moving - chairs be damned. At one point i saw this, kinda, sorta celebrity (she was a former idol contestant, later made co-host) trying to find a place at the front & getting death stares until she recognised her place BEHIND the fans who had shown up early enough to be there. The concert was this sweet fulfillment of a desire held for more than a decade & I grinned, screamed and damn near cried & feinted like a proper 60's groupie... & things just kept getting better - when 'A Song For Mama" came on & the cell phones came out, my sister & i started screaming (like the fools this story proves at least me to be) "Our mum's right here!!!!" And over the Boyz came, to where we were standing, to sing to my gorgeous mama... But wait! There's more.... :o) I got us all meet & greet passes for after the show & as we walked up to the table Shawn calls out "Hi Mum!" (this claiming of my mother, i feel, means that Shawn & I are properly family now ;o)). My mum proceeded to tease Nate (i have a photo of her hand & his face looking wholly unimpressed) & then have a chat with Shawn about spending the 90's in a small country town, where country music ruled, and she had us listening to Boyz II Men...). Wanya either remembered me, or put on a really good show of making it seem like he did :o) & i asked to have the photo i neglected the day before, the security guard yelled at me "No photos!" & when i said i was sorry told me not to lie haha... Boyz II Men have always been my favourites, always. There was never a time when I have claimed any other/s. But in that one night, treating my mum with as much respect & love as they did, they made a lifetime of love feel reciprocated.

The first time I (FINALLY) got to see Boyz II Men was in 2005. I was assistant manager of an electronics store in Sydney, Australia & the guys were coming for the Throwback tour. They hadn't been to Australia in a long time & every venue sold out fast (they had to do 2 shows in one night in Sydney to deal with the demand). I was flying that night to Brisbane to take my mum to the show there the next day for her birthday (my mum introduced me to the Boyz when I was all of 7 or 8 so it was only right :)). Anyway, some one set of an alarm in the store & i went to deal with it, to reset it, make sure the customer wasn't too embarrassed or likely to steal anything... Suddenly one of the guys who worked with me runs up behind me "Janaki, Janaki, its WANYA!" I turned around and froze. Like, could not move. Wanya was walking OUT of my store. If it weren't for my friend Andrew that would have been the end of it, Wanya would have walked away and i may well have stood still in that spot for the rest of the day... Instead Andrew starts poking me in the back (not gently either) "Go & talk to him, go & talk to him, Janaki, go & talk to him!) He was stepping out the door when i finally moved... "Uh, um, hi, um, Wanya, um, hi." (I'm pretty sure that's exactly what I said *sigh*) He turned around and smiled :o) "Hi" (me again) "Uhh, could you uhh, I have a copy of Throwback, uhhh, could you, uhhh, could i, could you wait while i get it for you to sign?" (this may not have come out as a full sentence). I ran to my office - my bags were in there, all packed so i could go straight to the airport after work - & got the CD and ran back to him... "Did you like it?" he asked "I love it! I can't wait for Volume II" (being ridiculously greedy about wanting more music from the Boyz) Wanya - "Are you coming to see us tonight?" Me - "No, but, but, i'm gonna see you in Brisbane, i'm flying up there so i can take my mum." He smiled and told me that he'd see me there, signed my CD & gave me a hug as i mumbled about loving Boyz II Men since I was little & how talented and amazing they are and... and then he left... & I stood mute in disbelief... Then alarm bells started ringing in my head - Not only had I just acted like a complete ditz but I was surrounded by cameras and hadn't thought to take a photo with him... So i ran off and fumbled around to find a camera with charged batteries... (n.b. i'm usually a painfully responsible person, fortunately the people i worked with were awesome & totally covered me & the store all during my hours of uselessness that day). When i finally had the camera sorted i couldn't find Wanya :o( i checked all through the shopping center my store was in and he was gone... but i was still buzzing - i think everyone i spoke to that day got to hear that Boyz II Men broke records set by Elvis & whatever other random facts about their amazing-ness that crossed my mind :o)). This story continues but maybe i should put it in a new box...

it was when they had their first show in dublin. went to tripod quit early and was and was quing there for a good while alone. it started raining so i went in the bar next door (crawdaddy). before i knew it i saw shawn passing outside the entrance. wanya came inside crawdaddy. i went up to him and i hadn’t a clue what i was gonna say. i asked for a picture. he was like yes but he’s going into the loo first.....now here comes the crazy fan part.... i waited and asked one of the bar ladies if that was the only loo exit and she said yes. i think i would have actually gone in if she had said there was another exit thinking that he’ll exit through the other door but no, it was the only one so i waited. it happened so quick i don't think i was thinking straight.....i then went outside got a picture with nathan. i was soooo excited i even forgot about shawn. i went to top up me phone and called me ma and pa.

my FAVORITE BIIM memory

well I have so many great memories in my life that you played a part in but my top two are the day you saved my life because I asked god to give me a reason to stay in this world & he told me to try BIIM they've always worked for you before & at first I didnt think anything of It & thought It would make me feel better for the moment & then I'd be miserable again but when I heard these words " I'll get through this I'll find my way again so dont tell that Its over cuz each step just gets me closer I WILL GET THERE" It was those words that changed my life forever thats why I love BIIM as much as I do because without you I wouldn't still be alive today & thats why I say I consider each of you family because you were there when I needed someone the most because I had no one else to turn to & I'll ALWAYS love each of you from the bottom of my heart but that moment Is tied with october 12 2009 simply the MOST UNFORGETABLE day of my ENTIRE life because that was the day I got to tell you in person THANKYOU for saving my life & after how you treated me & my family If I were to meet anyone famous It would pale in comparison to meeting BIIM you are truelly the most HUMBLE , COMPASSIONATE, CARING & CONSIDERATE MEN I HAVE EVER MET thankyou for everything I'll NEVER FORGET IT you'll ALWAYS have a specail place In my heart till the day I die but as long your out there doing what you do I'll still be alive & I'll still be a fan dont worry LOVE ALWAYS & FOREVER Alexis ,TN :)

Each show we attend comes with its own story. Some sad, some strange but all delightfully hilarious. For the record, I was on Valium to go to Reno. A Valium in your stomach and a Bible in your lap make for great flying. Casino Shenanigan...I'm still shaking and scratching my damn head. @TiTFaM, we are still trying to get the pictures off the camera! As soon as Whitney has her baby, we will resume our efforts. Truth be told we just to go to shows to see what's going to happen. The fellas singing is just a perk. LOL

Think, woman lol. When we were returning from one of the bridges to the underground there was this huge ad with this completely naked guy, lying on his stomach. Obviously I can't remember what the ad was for (hello LMAO), but one of us asked Gaelle to take a photo of him, well of the ad. I guess she didn't take the photo then.

Anyway....I have too many good memories...I saw the group for the first time in 2007 in Paris and since this day, I saw them in Dublin, London, NYC Haha..And No, I'm not one of those crazy fans... My first memory was in 2007 of course...I was so excited to see the group for the first time ! I acted like a stupid little girl...when I think about it now ! When I saw Wanya I was like ":O .... hi ..... :O" (in my head it was like what's his name? I can't move anymore, it's Wanya !!! Wanyaaaaaa). When I saw Nate for the first time I was so scared to hug him LOL. And When I saw Shawn I was so glad that he knew my name because we just talked 2 or 3 times on the web, that's it ! I saw them the day after and when they had to go...well...I cried like a baby girl and I do remember Wan's face and his words were "What's wrong Vanessa, you look so sad?" and I told to all my friends "what if I don't see them again??? :'((((((" LOL ! Now that I'm thinking about it, that's funny....cause I saw them like 15 times now But the best memory is definitely in June 2009....the show in Paris was just CRAZY !!! The crowd was really excited and the "backstage-moment" with you guyz was just unbelievable...you changed my life forever and you know why :-) After that, I swear that it was hard for me to sleep !!! I was like a child...smiling all the night and I was like "no seriously, I can't believe it" Once again, thank you so much for all the love u give to ur fans...thanks for everything ! ---- Hmmm..Now, it's ur turn, what is the best moment with your favorite french fan? LOL !

My First and Best Memory

It had to be 1991, right before your first album release. I went to see Hal Jackson's Talented Teens at the Apollo Theatre in New York with my mother. Had no interest in going to a beauty pageant. You guys performed and I fell in love! Rushed the stage and everything, lol. I was mezmorized for the next 10 years, following EVERYTHING you guys did. I have not seen you guys perform in awhile, last I saw you was at BB King's in NYC. I am really looking forward to the show this Friday and possibly meeting you guys! I can't believe it has been 20 years already...

Ok I already posted my best memory so now I want to say thanks for the memories. Nate, Shawn, and Wanya we know ya'll are just normal guys, but we appreciate ya'll SO MUCH! Ya'll have given us 20 years of memories. Memories that we'll be telling our greatest grandchildren about. Memories that when we're crying, makes us smile. When we're having a horrible day, makes it better. I've gone through so much this past year, giving up on love and relationships then I listen to "Never". "Pass You By" keeps me strong everytime I think of getting back with Nyia's father. "A Song For Mama" keeps me focused on being the best mother for my daughter. SO MANY OTHERS! I sing "Shining Star' and "Amazed" to Nyia everyday. There are so many other things ya'll could be doing this season, yet ya'll are out there with the fans. Stopping for pictures, autographs, hugs. "Little things mean a lot" to all of us. SO THANK YA'LL FOR THE MEMORIES. Thank ya'll for the times ya'll smile when you're tired and your cheeks hurt, for stopping when ya'll only have a few minutes, for the times your dinner and family time is interrupted by a fan, for missing the birthdays and other holidays with your families when you're out on the road.

My favorite BIIM memory...

Well, like everyone else, I have so many. But I think the one that stands out the most as far as helping me out in a tough situation was when they were on Oprah and sang A Song for Mama. I had just started my first year of college in North Carolina. I was so homesick and not having a great time at all. So, the guys come on the show and sing and I just remember having a huge smile on my face and finally feeling happy. Even my roommate at the time looked at me and was like "Wow, I think that's the first time I've seen you smile since you've gotten here". So, thank you guys for all the times your music has gotten me through tough times. See you at Foxwoods!

My memories

In Dublin, Ireland I gave Mr. Nate a rose and he sang to me. If I had known that he would sing to me, I'd have brought the whole bouquet. lol Another one of my favourite memories is not directly connected with the boyz, but the boyz made it possible. They had a series of concerts in the UK this past June and in London I met up with some of my dear friends, fellow fans, and we spent the entire day together. We had tea with the queen, took photos of the naked guy on the billboard, visited the wrong bridge, had lunch together....

Right On Time

This is VERY hard for me to pick one memory as the best since I have been to more shows than I can count. So let’s see… besides meeting the guyz for the first time(there was a panic attack& a proposal), counting down to midnight on NYE(coolest thing ever) or getting the last rose from Wanya( I turned into a 13yr old girl complete with shaking and holding back tears, and yeah I will admit it was just last year)my favorite moment came from Mr. Nathan Morris himself. Being a fan of Wanya from day 1 you know it has to be good. It was the summer of 2006 in Vegas, my birthday weekend. The 2nd show into the 4 show run Nate starts to prepare himself to sing “Right On Time” (those of you who have seen him perform this song know what I mean by “prepare”…LOL) As he walks to the mic at the front of the stage he points and motions to come to the stage. I sat there with a dumbfounded look on my face like “Seriously??” Once I snapped out of it and get to the stage Nate gets down on his knees in front of me and sings his verse of the song directly to me. Complete with brushing my hair off my face and the stroking of my cheek. Needless to say I walked away from that stage a little weak in the knees and saying “wanya who??” So Thanks Nate for singing me my favorite song and giving me a great birthday present.

Blizzard of 2009 Morton, Minnesota

After we have just seen the gentlemen perform in St. Charles, Missouri twice, we were all ready to go to our nice comfy hotel beds and drive back to Chicago in the morning. We did the meet and greet with the Guyz after the concert and we were so excited when we left, we decided to hop in the car and drive to see them at the Jackpot Junction Casino in Morton, MN the next day. Well the next morning was 3 hours later....we had no idea where Morton, MN was but we said okay we're going on a ROAD TRIP! After sleeping for an hour we took our showers and hopped in our rental car that that was due back to the company in less than 8 hours.....in Chicago but we headed to Morton, MN......in the opposite direction. Once we were in the car, we called the casino and asked for where we could sleep that night in Morton, MN....they told us the Morton Inn, with everything you could imagine in a town with 503 people. So 7 hours into our supposed 8 hour drive we still had five more to go since we got caught in one of the biggest blizzards we've experienced. We made it safely to the Morton Inn after driving down very small slippery roads that was not accomodating for our rental car. Okay, now its 6:15pm and we were told that the concert didn't start until 7pm and we had no idea where the Jackpot Junction Casino was located. After running around trying to make ourselves look presentable for the concert we made it to the venue only to to find out that the concert didn't start until 8pm (HUH? ROFL) Once we were let into the venue we were pleasantly surprised that the venue was huge and was sold out for the show! As we are talking to the rent-a-cop and other folks, we found out that only the first 10 ten rows will be the only ones allowed to go to the stage.....we were sitting in row 17. Well, that doesn't sit well with us, so after the show begins we've decided that those rules don't apply to those who have driven 12 hours in a blizzard! ROFL! So once the roses were scooped by the Guyz during I'll Make Love To You we went for it.....somehow we all scattered to opposite sections of the stage and planted ourselves in those spots for the remainder of the concert. After the show we were able to speak to the Guyz again and tell them about our little journey to Morton. Needless to say they were surprised we made it and they may have just realized, if they didn't know it before, how much we really love them. This may seem the worst trip ever to those of you reading this but once we made it back to Chicago and actually got some sleep, we realized that we can make it through just about anything to get to a Boyz II Men concert.

Ok so MY story is from 2006 at Tropicana Casino in AC. Kei & I were getting off the escalator when we see Nate coming right at us. He stopped to say hi & give us hugs. Then all of a sudden something catches his eye in the distance. Next thing u know Nate says "Gotta go, bye" and before we could say anything else there was a puff of smoke and he was gone! At that very moment, the floor shook beneath us (metaphorically speaking) and this girl came out of NOWHERE! I swear, it was like she jumped out the wall & Nate was her target. She started off down the escalator but it was to no avail - Nate was nowhere to be found! Just then, Shawn and another dude come out and start laughing uncontrollably! We never found out what happened to Mr Morris that night, but we can assume he survived the sneak attack. :-)

1993 or 1994 Tweeter Center, Camden, NJ My first concert ever. School girl crush, madly in love with Wanya. Seeing ALL of you on stage, screaming and crying in the stands. Was the best day of my life. (Well -- second now to my two year old!) I will never forget it. Will treasure AC 12/5/09 as well - Still smiling! You're music has brought me through many days. And Let me say Bonnie sang it first -- but YOU GOT IT!!!!!!!!!! Singing my life with your words! "I Can't Make You Love Me" Thank you BIIM, LOVE YOU!!! Happy 20th Anniversary, 2010! I was 10 years old when you hit the scene, I feel like I'm celebrating 20 years right with you! My story...

Oooh, oooh, I got one! Ok, picture it, Syracuse. 2003. NY State Fair. Boyz II Men are performing at Cole Muffler's Court. The band was in attendance. Beautiful summer's day with my homies Lisa and Whitney (Tara). After leaving the Bates Motel and being chauffeured to the mall in a 1970's blue limo, we commenced upon the state fair. In those days, the artist did 2 shows. So the 4pm show went off without a hitch. Then things got a little crazy. Now, we had 13 year olds collecting BIIM dust off the stage. The same girls or should I say the one girl who was the ring-leader, stole Nate towel and if that wasn't bad enough, groupie-in-training ripped the wrist bands right off his arms! The highlight: Nate falling off the stage. Other notable moments: Whitney tying Nate's sneaker (I have a pic of that). Fun night.

i got to share my love of boyz II men with my two daughters brianna 9 and hailey 5. Ever since then my daughters now share the love for the music they ask me to put the music on and they now know the songs on the new cd love. But what made that day so special was when shawn went past the G.A. security when they told him not to go out to the gate he came over to my daughters anyway and took a picture with them and they still tell everyone we met shawn stockman. It was the cutest thing and something my daughter will always remeber. But a very close # 2 memory was when I met the 3 of you and took a photo with you for the 1st time at westbury ny. When are you'll coming back to long Island. I just saw you in ac. I love you guys and thank you for still being there and making that beautiful music.

fave moment

i'm only 21 so i was never really able to attend any of your concerts in the beginning. When i found out you guys were coming to casino rama a few yrs ago i got really excited but realized i was underage to get in lol!! i went and borrowed my friend's ID which looked nothing like me but still got in (security can't tell asians apart... but im cool with it haha). I would have to say i was truly truly impressed... it was the best concert i have ever been to. Hearing them sing live really touched me. It just sounded so beautiful n perfect. "it was like wow" lol. So ever since then, i've been addicted n HAD to attend every concert they've had near me. I also got to meet them n there is no one else i would rather meet than my #1 idols :)

My best memory.....the NYS fair 2009! Boys II Men performed an amazing concert in front of 20,000 adoring fans! I was sitting in the 3rd row watching them perform and feeling as if they were singing only to me; they just have that way of making EVERY lady feel special that way. Well, as they handed out roses, I received one from Wanya! As if my night couldnt get any better, it did!! My night was made perfect! At the end of the performance, my friend and I were allowed to meet them, with about 100 other females! The first thing Shawn said to me was, "Wow, you have a great smile" Nate and Wanya agreed! I was elated! For a single girl who was starting to wonder why and doubt myself, that compliment meant the world to me. It's THOSE small things that keeps us as your faithful fans, thank you!

Reno January 2008

I honestly have so many good memories, that it was hard to choose. But I picked this one: It was a BIIM "double header" at the John Ascuga's Nugget Casino and Hotel in NV. The flight there AND back was traumatic...let's just say, some of us were medicated and some of us were inebriated in order to endure the flight. I never thought I would ever be that scared traveling anywhere...until of course we were forced to DRIVE on a MOUNTAIN. But that's another story. I digress... This happened the second night. The first was absolutely wonderful. We were sitting right up front. The hostess was the NICEST LADY EVER. The guys sounded beautiful. The crowd was loving it. We all got roses. I didn't think it could get any better. But the next night, it did...eventually. Since we had received roses the day before, even though we sat at the stage again for the second night, we all decided we would give other fans a chance to get one. So, when it came time, we all stayed seated. Of course girls....and guys for that matter...stood and rushed the stage. At first, we just hunkered down a bit. Trying to give them access. But then it started getting a little crazy! Girls were practically climbing on us to get a roses. And then when they got one, did they sit down?...NEGATIVE! They stayed there and sang and clapped and screamed and were STILL REACHING THEIR HANDS OUT! This time just trying to touch one of them. And we're still there, trying to stay low, being VERY accommodating because we understood their excitement. I honestly stopped watching the show because I had to keep my head down. But now...we're getting accosted. By arms, other body parts I shall not name. But the WORST...we were attacked by roses. The ones they were catching and the one they already had in their hands, we were getting mauled by rose stems left and right. A lot of which were getting caught in my afro.....NOT GOOD! Just when I was considering just ducking UNDER the table, I looked up. And RIGHT in front of my face....is a rose. Apparently, Shawn had took pity on us and doled out three roses and handed them directly to us. As if we were being rewarded to our fan generosity! I can truly say I was touched and it made the battering we suffered worth it! And they lived happily even after. lol Good night, boys and girls!

My best Boyz II Men memory........

My best Boyz II Men memory was this past summer in Detroit at MotorCity Casino during "I'll Make Love To You" when the guys hand out roses and Wanya gave me a rose grab my hand, sung the rest of the song and kissed my hand. This was even more special to me because I almost didn't go to the concert because I had to work that day and the next but I made it, a little late, and it ended up being one of the best nights of my life. Thanks Wanya!!!!!!
